About Us

The Streather family has lived at Lodge farm for over 70 years.

In the past, the main business enterprises were arable farming and egg production. In 1990, Julia Streather, embarked on a business diversification programme establishing a boarding kennels, which was handed over to her son James and his wife Helen in 2003.

This was then followed by a farm shop and then the cattery. More recently we have opened a grooming parlour to pamper our doggies.

As a family business, we pride ourselves on our high levels of customer service and  attention to detail. The day-to-day running of Lodge Farm is still handled by James and Helen Streather, whose entreprenueurial talents have enabled the business to continue to thrive and grow.  We have a dedicated team of staff who help us with caring for your pets and their daily needs.  We have 2 daughters, Savannah and India who enjoy playing with our boarded guests in their spare time.

YELLour petsWe have many pets of our own :  3 dogs,  a Labrador, called Princess, a springer spaniel and a Chihuahuas called blossom. a ginger tom cat called Charlie, 6 hens and a fish pond.
